Introduction
TongTong Lab respects your privacy and designed Side Gallery to keep your photos on your device as much as possible. This policy explains how the app handles photos, permissions, advertising, purchases, and information processed by third-party services.
Photos and Local Storage
Photos captured with Side Gallery are stored in the app's private local storage on your device. They are not automatically added to Apple Photos.
TongTong Lab does not upload or store these photos on its own servers. Photos remain in the app until you delete them. Photos stored only inside Side Gallery may be removed if you delete the app, so export important photos before uninstalling it.
Camera and Photo Library Permissions
Permissions are used only to provide the corresponding app functionality and can be managed in your device settings.
Sharing
When you choose to share a photo, Side Gallery uses Apple's system Share Sheet. Side Gallery does not share a photo unless you initiate the action and select a destination.
The app or service you choose as the destination may process the shared photo under its own privacy policy.
Advertising
Side Gallery uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). Depending on your region, device settings, and consent choices, Google and its advertising partners may process information such as:
- device information
- IP address
- advertising identifiers, where permitted
- app and ad interactions
- diagnostic information
Where required, Side Gallery uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent management tools. Advertising-related information is processed by Google and its partners under their own policies; this does not mean that TongTong Lab itself receives or stores all of that information.
In-App Purchases
Side Gallery offers Remove Ads (remove_ads), a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that permanently removes advertisements.
Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. TongTong Lab does not receive or store your payment card or other payment-method information.
Accounts and Server Uploads
No account is required to use Side Gallery, and the app does not create a user account.
TongTong Lab does not operate a photo storage server for Side Gallery and does not upload your Side Gallery photos to TongTong Lab servers.
Third-Party Services
Side Gallery uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) for advertising and Apple's App Store, StoreKit, or related in-app purchase services for purchases and restoration. These providers may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
Children
Side Gallery is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children through TongTong Lab servers. Third-party advertising and platform services may process information as described in their own policies and subject to applicable settings and consent requirements.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when the app, applicable law, or third-party services change. The latest version and its effective date will be published on this page.
