Overview
Pony Photo Cleaner does not require registration or a user account. TongTong Lab does not upload or store on its servers the original photos, videos, or screenshots reviewed by the app.
Google's advertising services may process the information described below when ads are provided. This means that the app should not be understood as processing no information at all.
Photo Library Processing
When you allow Photo Library access, the app reviews the photos, videos, and screenshots you have permitted it to access. It displays cleanup candidates, file sizes, previews, and selection states to provide its cleanup features.
Original photos and videos are not sent to TongTong Lab servers. Scan results, selection states, and app-created caches are stored on your device. TongTong Lab does not operate a separate cloud database for this information.
iCloud Photos
The app does not automatically download an original solely from iCloud for cleanup. An item whose original is unavailable locally may be shown as unavailable or excluded from cleanup.
iCloud Photos storage and synchronization are separate Apple services governed by Apple's settings and policies. TongTong Lab does not access your iCloud account or iCloud storage.
Deletion
The app requests deletion through the standard iOS PhotoKit framework only after you select items and confirm the deletion. iOS may present an additional system confirmation before deletion.
Deleted items may remain in Recently Deleted in Apple Photos for a period of time. Recovery, permanent deletion, and retention there are governed by Apple Photos and your iCloud Photos settings.
Permissions
The app may currently request only the permissions below. You can change them in device settings.
Advertising and Consent
The free version uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display ads. To provide ads, limit frequency, measure performance, maintain security, and prevent abuse, Google's advertising SDK may process an IP address, device identifiers, device and app information, diagnostics, and advertising interactions. What is actually processed depends on your region, device settings, choices, and Google's policies.
The app uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request and manage advertising consent where required. A UMP consent choice and Apple's ATT permission are separate processes. You can use the app if you decline ATT, and ads may still be displayed.
In-App Purchase
Pony Photo Cleaner offers a one-time, non-consumable purchase that permanently removes ads (com.tongtonglab.phloat.removeads). Apple processes the purchase and restoration through the App Store and StoreKit.
TongTong Lab does not directly collect or store card numbers or other payment-method information. The app checks verified entitlement information provided by Apple to determine whether the purchase applies.
Third-Party Services
External services used by the app include Google Mobile Ads (AdMob), Google User Messaging Platform, and Apple's App Store and StoreKit. Each provider may process information under its own policies and your settings.
Children's Privacy
The app does not create accounts and is not designed to knowingly collect children's personal information through TongTong Lab's own servers. Advertising and platform providers may process information under their policies and applicable consent requirements.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when the app, applicable law, or third-party services change. The latest version and its effective date will be published on this page.
